I'm SOOOO Tired!
We just got back from a weekend away. We went to lead the meetings at 2 different corps, so half of us went to one in Hannam Vale and some of us went to Taree. I was at the one in Hannam Vale. It was very interesting because we got there on Saturday afternoon and spent the afternoon with their youth group. It was so much fun. Then we all stayed at different people's houses. My friend Myrtle and I stayed with a couple named Elvin and Pamela and their daughter. It was really fun!
Hannam Vale is a small country town. The people that we stayed with lived on a farm and they raise Alpaca's (which are kind of like Llammas) anyway one of the baby alpaca's mother had died and so they are hand feeding her. Her name was Jezebel and Myrtle and I got to come out and help them with the feeding. It was so fun. And then we slept in duvets that were filled with Alpaca wool and they were super warm. We had so much fun! They were teaching me all kinds of "Australian" sayings to take back home with me. Pamela also pointed out that both Myrtle and I were named after flowers! We had never realized that before.
Then this morning we went to Hannam Vale corps which was really good. They had a really great band with guitars, drums, piano and violins. The violins sounded so nice when we sang the song Above All. Then we had lunch with some people from the corps and I had my first taste of Pumpkin Soup. It was so good! I loved it!
Anyways so that was pretty much the excitement for this past weekend. Oh and how could I forget I actually saw Star Wars Episode 3 on friday night. It was actually really good. Although I was told later by a few of the guys that they could have done without me and Myrtle sobbing and crying for half of it. I CAN'T BELIEVE I SAW STAR WARS! I vowed never to do that :( But I made a good deal with one of the leaders at my school...If I watch all like 9 hours or whatever it is of Star Wars, then he'll watch all of Anne of Green Gables...which is about 9 hours too. So everytime I start to think how boring Star Wars is I think of the fact that Matt will have to watch Anne of Green Gables too! Anyways I'm more than halfways done Star Wars now...I just have Episodes 5 & 6 left to finish!

How many episodes of Star Wars are there???? That is just cruel and unusual punishment .... but the pay back will be quite delightful eh?
