Booked My Flight Home...

Whoo-hoo! Today I booked my flight home...so it is official! I arrive home on November 30! It is so strange to think that in 2 months I will be home! It's so hard to believe how fast the time has gone...but I've had some really great times here and made some really amazing friends that I will really really miss!

I can't wait to get back home and get back into the swing of things! I am so ready to be home and back to the stuff I love! I miss Regent and 614 and all my friends! I miss my car...sad isn't it! I miss having MY OWN ROOM (as much as I love my roomie Anita...it's just not the same!)

I don't really know what I will be doing for work when I get back...but what I do know is that God has a plan for that and so I don't need to be worried. He brought me to where I am in life for a reason and He won't leave me hanging with nothing...so I am just waiting in anticipation to see what great things He has in store for me when I get home!

Talked to my friend Rochelle on the phone last night...which was really great. I had not talked to her in a while and I am really going to miss her and her husband John when they go away...but I know that God has phenomenal things planned for them because they are both just so full of love for God and for the people that He has placed in their lives and I am praying for their journey! I am really proud of them both!

Now I have to get back to work because I was working on an assignment and this was just a "quick" break!

Only 2 more months...

Time has been flying by so fast I can hardly believe it...There is now only about 2 months before I come home. I am excited yet I will miss a lot of things about SFYL and Australia! However...all that is forgotten by the fact that I get to see all my wonderful friends, go back to squads, teach Sunday School again, have lots of parties...you know all the good things!

THAT I am looking forward to greatly! I am also looking forward to the two weeks after graduation that I am going to spend with my good friend Cate in Melbourne! That will be so much fun! I really am looking forward to spending more time with Cate before head back home!

We started 40 days of purpose today at the school...40 days seems like such a long time...oh well! Alicia and I started working on a book of memories for our class to take home and remember the good times. So that should be good! We have already laughed so much just starting to make it...okay so most of the stupid things were said by me or her...but really for those who know me that should not be too surprising!

Should go get some actual work done now!

Back In Sydney...

Back at Streetlevel again...this time with Jason and this time for only 2 weeks. It is going really great so far. On Saturday I got a chance to hang out with the Ryan Family again as well as the Metcalf's and yes...even Curtis! So that was fun and exciting for me.
It is so nice to have a friend in Sydney. So this morning I got together with Curtis and Cate (who's in town this week from Melbourne!) for lunch which was fun, we just got to chat and catch up on old times.

Tonight I have the last part of my Inner City Welfare Course tonight which I am looking forward to and then on Friday we have our graduation. So really I will have 2 graduations while in Australia...because I have my grad from SFYL on November 13th! So that is interesting! I am getting to the point where I am almost ready to come home! Before I come home I am spending a few weeks with Cate in Melbourne...so that should be great! I am really looking forward to it! Just relaxing and reading and lying in the sun and stuff like that!
